a very important aspect in the growing environment of businesses and their
relationship with technology, for marketing, it's useful in advertising and
market research, for Human resource management, it helps with recruiting, to
seek the online presence of the candidates and assists with training as well.
We also learnt of social commerce and its benefits to customers and businesses,
such as customers helping each other and their expectations can be met quickly,
for businesses there are benefits such as learning a lot about their customers,
creating better marketing campaigns and they get free advertising through viral
marketing. All in all, social computing is essential to learn as it could be
applied in a business and this class was also helpful in learning of the
benefits and challenges to be derived from crowdsourcing to an organization.
